Hello Everyone!
So much has happened! My last name has "officially" changed to Collins, and God has greatly blessed. Between the planning for the wedding, the big day itself, and losing the password to my blog (which I just recently found), the blog has suffered from a lack of updates. This, of course, is changing. Expect more posts, and hopefully, more writing announcements soon to come. :-)
Just came back from the Christian Writer's Guild Conference, and fellow writers, you should check out the CWG's website for writing information (http://www.christianwritersguild.com/). You should consider joining this community of writers who are passionate about their beliefs! The 2011 CWG conference went well, and the opportunities to present my book ideas were well-worth the looooong flight to Denver!
The Writer's Bloc (a writing group I've started for young writers) has a topic discussion for the month on "Writing Conferences." I would like to extend that discussion to the blog. For the remainder of the month, I will be posting tips, answering comments/questions on this topic.
